Product Warranty
All electronic products supplied by Maiden Electronics come with a 1 year "carry in" warranty against bad workmanship and manufacturing faults.
Batteries come with varying warranty periods and terms depending on type, application and supplier. Please check with us what your warranty period is on your purchase. Lead Acid batteries carry 0months warranty when used in inverter/UPS applications.
Batteries are covered under the manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing faults. However, this does not include batteries that have been under/over charged or cycled to the point of reduced run time. In all cases the battery supplier will determine whether the fault is covered under warranty.
The warranty period starts from the purchase date. That date does not reset when an item is repaired/replaced.
Electronics and other parts damaged due to excessive overload, power surge/spike, lightening or misuse in anyway will not be replaced or repaired under warranty.
Any faults due to any workmanship not carried out by Maiden Electronics will not be covered under warranty. Any faults as a result of installation errors will not be covered under warranty.
If the product has been opened or tampered with the warranty will no longer apply to that product. Repairs that are not under warranty will be charged at a very reasonable cost to the customer.
We charge R500 or 5% (which ever is higher) for products returned within 7 days. Shipping costs for returns are not covered under warranty.
MAIDEN ELECTRONICS HAS THE RIGHT TO DETERMINE WHETHER A FAULT FALLS UNDER WARRANTY OR NOT. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A ZAR395.00+VAT MINIMUM CHARGE TO EXAMINE FAULTY PRODUCTS WHICH WILL ONLY BE WAIVERED WHEN THE FAULT IS UNDER WARRANTY.
